Castor

The look of the new Castor is dominated by the wide aerodynamic down tube and the ultra thin seatstays. In this aero frame, the cables are internal. The BB30 bracket eliminates the need for external cups, resulting in a stronger lighter bracket with a low Q factor.

The behavior of a bicycle frame is totally asymmetric. For the purpose of the construction of the frame, we assume that the rider applies equal force with his left and right leg. However, the pull on the chain is always applied on the right side of the frame. To counter this force, this frame has an asymmetrical internal construction. Even though it is not visible on the outside, the left and right sides of this frame are not constructed the same way. To counter the effect of chain pull, strategic areas are reinforced with extra layers of carbon. Reinforcing different areas on the left and right side of the frame helps us keep the weight of the frame down and significantly decreases the risk of fractures.

(1) The level and quality of the bike equipment is linked to the selected groupset, not to the frame

- Wheels can be upgraded to Campa Vento, Scirocco, Zonda, Neutron, Eurus
- Handlebars can be upgraded to carbon or carbon-alu models
- Saddles can be upgraded

(3) Cross bike is equipped with Truvativ cranks, Continental Mountainking tyres and additional frogleg brakes handles

(5) Flight Carbon bikes are equipped Prorace Crono carbon timetrial handlebar.
Flight bikes with Super Record or Dura Ace group sets are equipped with carbon wheels and Veloflex tires.
Flight bikes with other groupsets follow the regular equipment list.
