Deamon

The Deamon is a new frame for 2012. It is constructed of Torayca 40HT 12K carbon for low weight and a high torsion stiffness.
The Deamon follows the latest technical trends on the market. The frame is suited for both classic mechanical and Shimano DI2 cable systems. If you choose a DI2 groupset, the battery can be assembled under the down tube for a clean look.
The cable routing for this frame was studied extensively. The rear brake cable now enters the top tube on the right side of the head tube, and exits on the left side. This significantly reduces the risk of rattling. The cable for the rear derailleur runs the entire length inside the down tube and seat stay. This simply looks better, but also protects the cable and enables quicker shifting.
The Deamon is equipped with a BB30 bracket, but comes with a bus adaptor that allows you to use a classic BSA Group sets.
Several parts such as the seat clamp, headset, cable adaptors, bolts and attachment points for the bottle cage are anodized in a red, gold or titanium.

Remarks:
(1) The level and quality of the bike equipment is linked to the selected groupset, not to the frame

(2) Components can be upgraded at an additional charge, e.g.
- Wheels can be upgraded to Campa Vento, Scirocco, Zonda, Neutron, Eurus
- Handlebars can be upgraded to carbon or carbon-alu models
- Saddles can be upgraded

(3) Cross bike is equipped with Truvativ cranks, Continental Mountainking tyres and additional frogleg brakes handles

(5) Flight Carbon bikes are equipped Prorace Crono carbon timetrial handlebar.
Flight bikes with Super Record or Dura Ace group sets are equipped with carbon wheels and Veloflex tires.
Flight bikes with other groupsets follow the regular equipment list.
