Carbon composites combine high strength carbon fibres in a matrix of tough resin to produce a material whose properties far exceed those of steel or alloy. Yet, too often inferior design and manufacture has unfortunately given this material undeserved infamy. Thus PRORACE has launched its own high-grade composite material and technology to highlight what can be done with this material when it is produced using the correct and most advanced methods.
VENUS C7 - Carbon composite for bikes
We have drawn on many years of composite bike manufacture to develop VENUS C7. By selecting only high modulus and high strength prepeg raw material that is then cured at high temperatures using PRORACE forming techniques, we produce a composite structure with consistent quality and unsurpassed fatigue resistance.
