How to determine if a fracture in your frame is a warranty case
If you notice a fracture in your Prorace frame or fork, stop riding the bike immediately. First of all, take your bike to your Prorace dealer for evaluation. In many cases, your Prorace dealer will be able to determine if it is a warranty case or not. Many "fractures" are nothing more than a cosmetic defect such as a crack in the paint. Others are real fractures that affect the structural integrity of the frame. In case of such a constructive fracture, your dealer will initiate the warranty process and return the frame to Prorace for repair or replacement. If the fracture is not covered by warranty, your dealer can propose alternatives to you.

Tip 1: When you notice a fracture in your frame or fork, stop using the bike immediately to avoid risk of crashes and injury. Pay particular attention to fractures in the fork or around the head tube, as they can lead to severe crashes and injuries.
Tip 2: Fractures as a result of accidents and crashes are not covered by the warranty. Because safety is of the utmost importance, we recommend that you bring your frame to your Prorace dealer for inspection after a crash.

Hoe bepalen of een barst in uw frame onder garantie valt
Als u een barst opmerkt in uw Prorace frame of vork adviseren wij u om de fiets niet verder te gebruiken. De eerste stap is dat u met de fiets naar uw Prorace dealer gaat voor evaluatie. In veel gevallen zal uw dealer al kunnen zien of het over een garantiegeval gaat of niet. Veel barsten in frames zijn cosmetisch van aard, zoals een kras of barst in de verf zonder nadelige gevolgen voor het frame. Een barst kan ook een scheur zijn in het frame zelf, waardoor de structurele integriteit van het frame in gevaar komt. In geval van constructiefouten zal uw dealer het garantieproces opstarten en uw frame terugsturen naar Prorace voor herstelling of vervanging. Als uw barst niet in aanmerking komt voor garantie zal uw dieler u de mogelijke alternatieven voorstellen.

Tip 1: Als u een barst waarneemt in uw frame of vork, gebruik de fiets dan niet meer om het risico of valpartijen en kwetsuren te vermijden. Dit is in het bijzonder zo voor breuken in de vork of rond de balhoofdsbuis, aangezien die vaak aanleiding geven tot ernstige valpartijen.
Tip 2: Breuken als gevolg van ongevallen en valpartijen worden niet gedekt door de fabrieksgarantie. Omdat veiligheid boven alles gaat raden wij u aan om in geval van twijfel uw fiets te laten inspecteren door uw Prorace dealer.
